The Bereavement Studies Certificate is designed to offer specialized training in the ways that people grieve after the loss of a loved one. This program will also serve to provide an opportunity for those individuals already working in the field to receive advanced training in this area.
This academic program is designed to meet specific state or professional needs. It is not accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education (ABFSE). Students graduating from this program are not eligible to take the National Board Examination or any state board examination for which graduation from an ABFSE-accredited program is required.

Social science electives recommended.
