PHYS 095 Foundations of Physics IThis course is the first half of a two-semester course designed to prepare the Individual Studies student for entrance into a technical program of his or her choosing. The student will begin by learning some basic tools such as powers-of-10 notation, graphing techniques and vector addition. Then these tools will be applied in the areas of linear motion, forces, energy, heat and temperature, sound, and the reflection and refraction of light waves.
