INDG 100 Introduction to Indigenous PeoplesThis course introduces the topics of Indigenous peoples and indigeneity in the 21st century. Students will become aware of the various historical, social, lingusitic and political challenges and opportunities experienced by Indigenous people around the world. Additionally, the concepts of national minorities, the role of Indigenous people as opponents to colonization and the international protections afforded to Indigenous people will be explored.
