CIVL 112 Statics and Strength of MaterialsThis course covers vectors and force systems, centroids, moment of inertia, truss analysis, stresses and strains in homogeneous and non-homogeneous elastic bodies, temperature effects, bolted and welded joints, mechanical properties of materials, shear and bending moment, stresses in beams, deflection theory and column theory.
