The Engineering Science program parallels the first two years of four-year college programs in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and various engineering fields. Graduates with good academic records are able to transfer to many four-year engineering colleges with junior standing.
A maximum of 12 credits in engineering courses may be transferred into the program.

The estimated cost of books for the student enrolled in the first full-time term as outlined would be approximately $760.

(1) Engineering Electives Credits: 15
Three of the four engineering electives must come from the following courses:
The fourth engineering elective may be another ENGR course listed above or one of the following:
Note:
Students cannot use more than one of the non-engineering courses as an engineering elective unless approved by the MES Department Chair.
Students can take ENGR 222 OR ENGR 223. If both are taken only one will count as degree applicable.
Students can take BIOL 150 OR 190. If both are taken only one will count as degree applicable.
Students can take BIOL 151 OR BIOL 191. If both are taken only one will count as degree applicable.
Students can take CHEM 111 OR 121. If both are taken only one will count as degree applicable.
Students can take CISS 109 OR CISS 110. If both are taken only one will count as degree applicable.
(2) General Education Electives Credits: 3
Students are required to take one course from the SUNY General Education areas below

Electives should be selected after consultation with your academic department and exploring the needs of your transfer college(s).
