Liberal Arts and Sciences courses are those studies intended to provide chiefly general knowledge and to develop students’ general intellectual capacities. Most degree programs in the College require the student to take courses in the Liberal Arts and Sciences. These courses are comprised of four categories of study: Humanities (HUM), Mathematics (MAT), Science (SCI) and Social Science (SSC).
The courses listed below may be applied toward a degree to fulfill a Liberal Arts and Sciences requirement or to fulfill an elective requirement in the category in which the course is listed. A course description notes which category of Liberal Arts and Sciences the course will fulfill.
