The Animal Law, Ethics and Enforcement microcredential provides a “macro” as well as “micro” knowledge and expertise of society’s duty of care and enforcement of this responsibility to other species. Animal Law and Ethics will provide the student with a global (macro) view of the issues surrounding our legal relationship with animals; while Animal Law Enforcement will equip the student with practical knowledge (micro) in handling animal cruelty cases and animal control matters in New York State.
