The Advanced Bioprocessing and Automation microcredential prepares students to advance their skills in areas of the pharmaceutical industry that rely on the biomanufacture of protein based drugs, effective team communication, and machine automation and diagnostics of machine faults. The microcredential focuses on critical knowledge and skills for the process scientist, including but not limited to: verbal team communication and documentation of laboratory results, planning a biomanufacturing regimen from genetic construct through protein purification, assessing yield by
utilizing various advanced analytical tools, and application of diagnostic protocols when determining automation faults.
