BIOL 255 Experimental Biology: Imaging and CytometryThis course is designed to introduce the advanced biology student to modern biological research methodology and issues. Emphasis is placed on experimental design, laboratory setup and operation, bioethics and oversight, data handling, and critical evaluation of relevant literature. Advanced microscopy, cell culture, and flow cytometry will be performed in the laboratory. Field trips to local research and commercial labs may be involved.
