WELD 203 Plate Welding Qualification Procedures

This course will introduce students to American Welding Society standards, destructive testing methods and non-destructive examination methods. Topics include fabrication of test plates, acceptance criteria, destructive and non-destructive testing and examination procedures, and qualification of welding personnel and procedures. Welding symbology will also be covered.
Pre-requisite(s): WELD 103 Shielded Metal Arc Welding Procedures and WELD 104 Gas Shielded Arc Welding Procedures
