WELD 204 Pipe Welding Qualification Procedures

This course will introduce students to American Welding Society, American Society of Mechanical Engineers and American Petroleum Institute codes, standards and specifications. Topics include theory of pipe design, cutting and preparation, destructive and non-destructive testing procedures and qualification of welding personnel and procedures. Pipe welding symbology will also be covered.
Pre-requisite(s): WELD 103 Shielded Metal Arc Welding Procedures and WELD 104 Gas Shielded Arc Welding Procedures
