CVIT 262 Imaging Skills for Cardiovascular Interventional Technology
This course imparts an understanding of the basic principles of ultrasonography. Whereapplicable, ultrasonographic examinations that complement interventional studies will bediscussed. Course content further provides students with an overview of radiographic andancillary equipment and materials necessary to perform diagnostic and therapeuticinterventional procedures. Technique and methods to enhance image quality are introduced.The content also establishes a knowledge base in the fundamentals of digital imagepostprocessing that supports guided skill development using clinical-based image workstations.
