WELD 206 Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Examination

This course will introduce students to Liquid Penetrant Testing and Examination (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing and Examination (MT). Theory, equipment, operation and safety particular to PT and MT will be covered. Quality control and selection methods will also be explored.
Pre-requisite(s): WELD 105 Introduction to Nondestructive Testing and Examination
Lab fee will be required.
