WELD 207 Ultrasonic Testing and Examination

This course will introduce students to Ultrasonic Testing and Examination (UT). Theory, equipment, operation and safety particular to UT will be covered. Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) Ultrasonic Testing will also be explored. 
Pre-requisite(s): WELD 105 Introduction to Nondestructive Testing and Examination  
Lab fee will be required.
