BIOL 191 Biology IIThis course provides a foundation for more advanced study. Concepts presented include evolution, survey of living organisms, physiological functions in organisms (digestion, respiration, circulation, immunology, homeostasis of body fluids, reproduction, nervous system, receptors, and effectors). Laboratory exercises include experimental investigation and anatomical study of mammalian organs and systems. Many of the laboratory activities involve dissection of animals or mammalian organs. Students are encouraged to take General Chemistry (CHEM 110 /CHEM 111 ) early in their studies. Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 190 Biology I .
