ENGL 222 Gender and LiteratureThis course examines representations and constructions of gender in literature. It provides an introduction to the key terms, debates, authors, and theories surrounding gender as it is represented in literature. Genres studied include poetry, short story, drama, and the novel. Students read, discuss and write about ideas contained in and generated by the texts.
