ARTS 212 Advanced Study in Drawing and Painting IThis is a studio course providing an intensive studio experience with emphasis on the development and articulation of students’ bodies of work. Group and individual critique, readings and discussions in contemporary art and art history form the context for students’ inquiry and exploration of their studio practice. Students will be responsible for purchasing some required course supplies. Pre-requisite(s): ARTS 111 Drawing II , ARTS 121 Painting II , ARTS 131, Photography II and/or written permission of instructor and department chair.
