PHYS 115 PhysicsA one-semester course designed especially for construction students. Fundamental principles of physics are presented in a wide variety of areas. Some of the topics covered are motion, Newton’s Laws, vectors, work and energy, hydraulics, strength of materials, statics, thermal effects, wave motion, single and double lens optics, and fundamental electricity. Where appropriate, the emphasis is on technical application to the construction field.
