ACTG 115 Honors Financial AccountingThis course provides a solid foundation in basic accounting concepts and techniques for students who want to pursue a career in accounting and for the general business student. The course covers the traditional topics of a first semester accounting course including the accounting cycle, financial statement analysis, and coverage of assets, liabilities and stockholders’ equity. The honors course will cover the same material as the traditional course with the exception of the amount of time allocated to each topic. A quicker pace will allow ample time for group work at the end of the semester. Open only to students enrolled in the Business- Business Administration Honors Track.
