SOCL 260 Honors American Architecture in Its Social ContextAn introduction to American architecture, city planning and land use, and the forces that shaped them including aesthetics, geography, social movements, economics, etc. Students will learn how to read landscape around them and how to participate in influencing their environments. Coursework relies heavily on slides, maps, plans and other visual data. This course is open only to students in one of the Honors tracks or by permission of Department Chair.
