CISS 116 Introduction to Augmented & Virtual RealityThis course is designed for students who are new to augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR). No previous knowledge of programming or AR/VR experience is required. By the end of the course, the student will have learned the history of AR/VR and developed and deployed an AR/VR application. The student will have an understanding of the physical principles involved in creating a user-friendly environment. The student will be knowledgeable of the current state of these technologies and of their many uses in various fields. Students will need to purchase a Google Cardboard for their CISS 116 Development. NOTE: CISS 100 Introduction to Computing and Information Sciences and (CISS 109 Python Programming or CISS 110 Programming and Logic I ) with final grades of “C” or better or by permission of Department Chairperson Terms Offered: Fall, Spring Offered Distance Learning: Yes Credits: 4 Contact Hours: Lecture: 4
