CISS 116 Introduction to Augmented & Virtual Reality

This course is designed for students who are new to augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR). No previous knowledge of programming or AR/VR experience is required. By the end of the course, the student will have learned the history of AR/VR and developed and deployed an AR/VR application. The student will have an understanding of the physical principles involved in creating a user-friendly environment. The student will be knowledgeable of the current state of these technologies and of their many uses in various fields. Students will need to purchase a Google Cardboard for their CISS 116 Development.
NOTE: CISS 100 Introduction to Computing and Information Sciences and (CISS 109 Python Programming or CISS 110 Programming and Logic I) with final grades of “C” or better or by permission of Department Chairperson
