AUTO 110 Automotive ServicesThis course is designed to familiarize students with tasks performed by entry-level automotive technicians. Students will learn professional procedures for lifting and supporting vehicles safely, lube-oil-filter service, tire and wheel service, lighting system repairs, basic tuneup, accessory drive belt service, battery service and more. Lecture sessions will provide necessary information on industry standards, including shop safety. Laboratory sessions will allow hands-on experience for students. Protective clothing, safety glasses, basic hand tools, and a valid driver’s license are required.
