BIOL 295 Neuroanatomy and NeurophysiologyThis course provides background on the fundamental workings of the nervous system, including the normal electrophysiology and chemistry of the neuron, anatomical brain structures and pathways. We will explore how disruption of molecules and physiology can lead to clinical pathology. Laboratory exercises include histology, brain protein extraction, anatomical study of mammalian brain, case studies and student presentations on neuropathology.
