The Advanced Accounting Micro-credential is designed for students who would like to advance their understanding of the accounting field. After completing the Advanced MicroCredential, a student could pursue the Accounting Certificate or AAS program.
The Advanced Accounting Micro-Credential courses will provide the student with the fundamental knowledge of accounting and all courses can be transferred to the Accounting Certificate or AAS programs.
The Accounting Micro-Credential series is stackable by providing additional modules to enhance a student’s skills within the accounting field with each module providing more advanced courses.
Micro-credential Pre-requisite:
ACTG 110 Financial Accounting or equivalent is a pre-requisite for the courses ACTG 111 Managerial Accounting and ACTG 210 Federal Income Tax and is required for the Introduction to Accounting Micro-credential.
