Advanced Supervision Micro-credential

This Advanced Supervision Micro-Credential establishes the fundamentals necessary to provide the student with the skills to solve business-oriented problems and prepares the student for employment in entry-level or even mid-level managerial positions. Students will explore the theory and methods of the supervisory process, be an effective leader and motivator, confidence indelegation, employee staffing, performance appraisal, business ethics, organization and management and be an effective communicator. Topics will also include teamwork, supportive leadership, decision making, change management and personality theory. The Micro-Credential is stackable by providing additional modules to enhance a student’s skills within the business management and supervisor field with each module providing more advanced courses. All courses can be transferred to the Business Administration AAS program.

This is a stackable Micro-Credential with students taking the Introduction to Supervision Micro-credential  , followed by the Advanced Supervision Micro-Credential. Key courses for the Advanced Supervision Micro-Credential include Organizational Leadership, Human Resources Management, and Business Ethics. The Supervision Micro-Credentials can be met through either full- or part-time study and through day and online offerings.
