BIOL 126 General NutritionThis one-semester course will teach the fundamental concepts of nutrition relevant to contemporary issues in health, as well as interpret scientific literature and research. It will use an inter-disciplinary approach by integrating knowledge from the fields of anatomy, physiology, chemistry and microbiology. The laboratory portion will reinforce and add to the knowledge utilizing scientific method, data collection and analysis to learn the principles of nutritional science.
