BIOL 245 ImmunologyThis one-semester course provides a comprehensive overview of the basic principles of immunology. It examines the tissues, cells, and molecules of the immune system; innate and acquired immunity; and the structure and function of immunoglobulins and the nature of their interactions with antigens. Topics of altered immune function, like autoimmunity, immunodeficiencies, tumor immunology, and transplantation immunology are discussed.
