BCOM 276 Digital Film Production IIThis course provides a continuation of the study of digital film production. Students will acquire advanced skills in using digital film software. Topics include: digital film manipulation, color correction, basic visual effects, film sound design and scoring, sound recording, and sound mixing. Emphasis is placed on preparing students to make use of professional self-marketing and distribution strategies. The course concludes with an externship appropriate to student interest and ability. NOTE: This course is taught at The New School as part of the A.A.S. in Broadcast Communications. Pre-requisite(s): BCOM 275 Digital Film Production I or permission of department chair; completion of all other previous program coursework with an average of “C” or better or approval of department chair.
