Students will study materials, equipment and the practice of selection in mechanical and electrical systems for buildings. Concepts used in the design of plumbing, air conditioning and electrical systems also are included. NOTE:Students should contact the department to determine which pre-requisite would be appropriate based on career goals. Pre-requisite(s): CNST 103 Blueprint Reading for Technologies and MATH 099 Elementary Algebra I or higher level math, excluding MATH 120 Real World Mathematics and MATH 135 Elementary Statistics.
