DART 205 AnimationThis course is an introduction to animation as a contemporary art form. Students will use Adobe Creative Software Flash or industry equivalent to create standalone and interactive animations based upon a story or theme. The course will begin with an introduction to the history, types and basic principles of animation as well as an overview of animation software. Students will continue to develop skills through concept-based assignments. Students may be responsible for the purchase of some necessary course supplies. Pre-requisite(s): ARTS 115 Two- Dimensional Design and DART 100 Digital Imaging I or by permission of the instructor and department chair.
