ENGL 235 Latino Literature and CultureThis course is the study of the literature and culture of Latinos in the United States. It will focus primarily on Puerto Rican, Cuban-American, and Chicano/a authors with the inclusion of modern writers from various Latin countries. Instruction will incorporate texts of authors’ experiences in America, as well as their linguistic, cultural, and political expression in poetry, essays, short stories, drama, and novels.
