MATH 205 Mathematical Statistical AnalysisA course designed for students who major in science or engineering that emphasizes contemporary applications of probability and statistics. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following: conditional probability, correlation, empirical distributions, events, hypothesis testing, interval estimation, probability distributions (continuous and discrete, joint and marginal), linear regression, means, random variables, sample spaces, and variances and co-variances.
