Principles of human dynamics in relation to loss are studied. Emphasis on nursing care is on the person experiencing loss in the intrapersonal, interpersonal and social systems. Clinical experience is provided in general hospitals, public and private agencies. Unsatisfactory application of the theory in the clinical laboratory experience will result in student failing the course. Successful completion of the course is required for entrance into NURS 202 Nursing IV. Open only to matriculated Nursing students. Pre-requisite(s):NURS 102 Nursing II and NURS 106 Bridging Education and Practice Simulation II. Co-requisite(s):NURS 205 Bridging Education and Practice Simulation III.
