PHYS 252 Methods of Theoretical PhysicsThis course is intended to provide the student with the applied mathematics needed in junior, senior and beginning graduate study in the physical sciences. The topics emphasized include applications of calculus, complex variables, linear algebra, power series, vector analysis and differential equations to complex problems in physics.
