BIOL 150 General Biology I This course is the first term of a one-year biology sequence designed to meet requirements of non-majors, as well as students planning to transfer into a baccalaureate program in biology. Topics covered include chemistry, the cell, photosynthesis, cellular respiration and genetics (both classical and molecular). Laboratory exercises correlate to lecture topics. High school biology is strongly recommended.
