BIOL 270 Anatomy and Physiology I This course provides a comprehensive study of the structures and functions of the human body using the systems approach. Topics covered the first term include biochemistry, the cell, tissues, skin, skeletal system, joints, muscular system, nervous system, and special senses. Laboratory classes are designed to reinforce the lecture material and include dissections of vertebrate specimens. High school biology and chemistry or equivalent recommended.
