The Advanced Entrepreneurship Microcredential is designed to provide aspiring and existing entrepreneurs with advanced entrepreneurial skills and business education skills to launch a new business by reinforcing the concepts and skills necessary to create, design and launch a successful new business.
Focus will be on creating a full business plan, understanding organizations and managing these organizations and the use of data through statistics.
This program provides the entrepreneurial skills needed for those whose dream is to run their own business or to become a driver of innovation in an established company. At the same time, those who already own a business will find that it helps them to advance their skill set.
This is a stackable MicroCredential with students taking the Introduction to Entrepreneurship Microcredential, followed by the Intermediate Entrepreneurship Microcredential, then the Advanced Entrepreneurship Microcredential which leads to a Certificate in Entrepreneurship.
The MicroCredentials can be met through either full- or part-time study and through day and online offerings.
Microcredential Pre-requisite:
ENTR 120 Entrepreneurial Process is a pre-requisite ENTR 150 Legal Issues in Entrepreneurship and ENTR 210 Entrepreneurial Finance . ENTR 150 Legal Issues in Entrepreneurship and ENTR 210 Entrepreneurial Finance is the pre- or co-requisite to ENTR 290 Entrepreneurial Strategy.
